Woohoo!
I have now broken my personal record of waking up VERY late in a day!
Before was 1:30 PM, but today my personal BEST is past 3:30 PM! J
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To all beings in the sea and the rest of our galaxy, Good Evening! J
I hope you had a wonderful day because I don’t really know if you had one. I just hope.
But even you had your fair share of troubles and bad luck today don’t forget to CHEER UP because tomorrow might be WORST! :-P
I’m suppa excited because there is a lot of stories to share today and for the first time, I’ll be posting pictures! Yes ladies and peeps! I now know how to use a camera! J
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In the news today, I was really surprised on how there was so many interesting subjects there is that I could share my opinions and insights, but for the purpose of making just a short blog, I am limiting myself to just a few. And also for reference, I am using a broadsheet, the Philippine Daily Inquirer*.
*Nope, I am not sponsored.
First off….
…wa wa wa wa wa wa wa WAIT!!!!!
OMGG! As in Oh! My Ginintuang salagintot sala Gubang!
I am getting old! Nooooooooo! Or am i? Maybe not getting old, just a bit mature I suppose. J
I really don’t remember when, but I just find myself buying or watching/listening to news now more often! I remembered before, for me, the newspaper was only good for wrapping used napkins or tuyo and I only read the comics portion.
But enough of that (I am still flabbergasted).
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am going start with a quotation from Scott Kelly, the brother-in-law of Rep. Gabriel Gifford.
“As I look out the window, I see a very beautiful planet that seems very inviting and peaceful. Unfortunately, it is not.”
“These days, we are constantly reminded of the unspeakable acts of violence and damage we can inflict upon one another, not just with our actions, but also with our irresponsible words.”
“We’re better than this. We should do better.”
I am in no mood to rant tonight, but I really feel the message made by the commanding officer of the International Space Station.
I am not even gonna question the reasons behind Jared Loughner on doing a shooting rampage on the congresswoman’s outdoor meeting, or for anyone who is the brain behind the brutal killing OF 41 PEOPLE in Acapulco. There was also news about the 14 dead people over a riot started by the protesters in Tunis.
*sigh
WHEN WILL CIVILIZATION RETURN!
I just feel that the world has gone back to being just a group of warring tribes. We have lost much of what has been started by our forefathers; the culture, morals and laws all down the drain. Every person is to his own again. People group themselves not to build bonds and create a healthy society, but they group themselves because they have a common enemy.
In 1986, the Philippines have experienced a new kind of power. The People Power.
And just like an ignorant child, a foolish one who haven’t learned anything yet, he has found a new toy to play with, a new weapon to exploit and abuse.
Year after year, term after term, Espaňa , EDSA and every well know roads have been a venue of the most effective yet cheap form of power. It doesn’t have to fund itself by buying weapons and ammunitions, just some rocks would be ok. And a little jostling of emotions would be enough to fuel a few hundreds. And this hundreds could encourage a few hundreds more. And before you know it, you have a thousand rallying on the streets. And you bet, you would find someone there participating with a different motive or reasons, or more often than not, no reasons at all.
And after the entire ruckus, they will just be back to start another one.
No problems are solved.
Just some rock debris and some broken window.
Created a hell of a traffic jam.
More trash to clog the drains to create floods. (Do they really have to bring food? Ano ba ito palabas? Concert?)
And vandalism after vandalism which makes no sense because they are just ruining freshly painted walls. Their message is not even clear!
Folks, there are a lot of avenues to settle disputes and to raise some questions.
I would understand if the protesters are like the farmers who protested in front of the Department of Agriculture building. They are unable to do anything about their problems because they are farmers who might have not known other procedures on how to effectively make their voice heard. And they have done that because it is their main source of livelihood that is being in jeopardy. If they didn’t do it, who knows what they would have done in order to feed their family and provide a better future for them.
But other than this kind of people…COME ON! You were better trained and educated!
You don’t have to be the reason on why I would be late for school, an exam or work!
I don’t know why POLITICIANS, PRIEST and STUDENTS have to be so self centered that they ALWAYS think that THEIR PROBLEMS are EVERYBODY’s problem!
Like for example the announcement made by a Catholic Cardinal (?) during a mass where he/she :p provoked the people to “misbehaved” if the RH Bill would become a law.
WHERE IN HELL DO YOU WANT TO REIGN?! Not everyone is against it ok!
And for the politicians joining rallies…they are just making everyone look dumb by making him/her look “ONE” with the masses.
Wake up!
If that politician really wants to go all out with you, let him/her do his job! He really is there in the service of the people and he is BETTER in his office doing paper work that WOULD LEAD to a PROBABLE SOLUTION because that is the reason why he/she is elected and sits in an air-conditioned room. Also, if he could have the money to paste his/her adorable little face during election days, why not do it for the cause he/she is pursuing!
There are a lot of avenues where concerns would be heard!
And students…just study hard so you would graduate faster and make a better Philippines. All you are really doing when you join such stupid shit is teaching younger students to just WHINE and be a DICK if you encounter problems.
Let us use such kind of measures if there are no other means of getting your concerns across.

Sorry guys, my blog for today is pretty long…for just one subject! LOL
I was planning to have a long blog, but with different topics and issues to get you more interested.
Some of the articles I would have liked to respond to is about Lady Drivers for buses and Manual vs. “Matic” for motoring news, but I would not be able to do it this time because I really need to rest because I have a cold today and my head is getting heavy. Peace!
